CIESC Media partnered with Cascade High School to produce a “lip-dub” music video featuring “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” by David Lee Murphy & Kenny Chesney. The video went viral in a hurry, being shared by radio stations all over the Midwest, and even caught the attention of David Lee Murphy himself. Murphy sent out a video response to Cascade High School congratulating them for their recently announced National Blue-Ribbon Award status and also posted the music video to his website.

This music video production took place at Cascade High School. It was a school-wide effort to plan and prepare for the shoot. Nearly all of the students, staff, and faculty were somehow involved, and it’s evident when you watch the video. The entire song was one continuous camera move through the school building which required tons of planning and choreographing.

For the tech geeks, we shot it using a Panasonic GH5 which was attached to a DJI Ronin-S gimbal. Using the gimbal helped to keep the camera movements smooth and stable as we walked backward while recording.
